ATPL Distance Learning

Any decision taken by a pilot in the cockpit depends on the theoretical knowledge learned, understood and put into practice during the ground training. That's why we have chosen the most advanced and engaging teaching materials, from our partner having PadPilot, for the upcoming generation of pilots.

The ATPL Distance Learning Theoretical Course is the most suitable solution for those who work or seek flexibility in completing the ATPL course. The course program is structured in 3 modules divided into two learning phases: self-study and classroom consolidation.

To access the course, all you need to do is subscribe to our e-learning platform (iMRS) and attend classes (a few days) with our instructors, about twice a month.

Exams can be taken at any EASA authority or at our examination center in the USA.

Books’ structure

The books are structured in chapters and topics. At the end of each chapter there is a summary and an interactive quiz. While the main content is about the theoretical knowledge necessary for modern airline operations, summaries and quizzes relate directly to EASA's learning objectives, making review and exam preparation easier. The study is always suitable for any type of learning: visual, auditory and interactive.

3D Models

Studying ATPL theory is easier when you can move and zoom in on 3D models and structures. Ideal for visual students, along with the texts, our 3D models (and other interactive features) help explain some of the most complex concepts visually. These 3D models are also viewable in Augmented Reality for a more immersive learning experience.

Video

iBooks contain hundreds of built-in videos and animated graphics to help bringing theory to life. Once you start playing the video, you can rotate the iPad horizontally for full-screen viewing.

Threat and Error Management Flags

The EASA 2020 programme puts more emphasis on threat and error management (TEM).

The first edition of ATPL iBooks has already identified TEM with red flags throughout the text and the second edition has even more of them. The adoption of TEM principles not only combines ground training with the industry’s best practices, but also captures the attention of students and motivates them while studying.
