TRI / SFI
A320 - A330 – B737
The TRI A320, SFI A320, TRI B737, SFI B737 courses are addressed to students that already have the minimum experience required by EASA Part-FCL and are also willing to transmit knowledge and experience to pilots who still have to get the licence for Airbus A320 or Boeing B737, as well as wanting to teach MCC course.
At the end of the TRI/SFI course, where possible, EAA offers the opportunity to candidates, who have demonstrated good aptitude and knowledge during the course to join its pool of instructors.

Teaching and Learning
In every instruction course (FI, IRI, CRI, TRI) you will learn teaching techniques that consider different personalities and backgrounds of the students you will meet on your journey.
You will learn how to teach and lead theory lessons, briefings and de-briefing to future students. You will also start learning how to prepare a simulator training session for all levels of MCC & Type Rating courses.
Technical Review
During this phase we will teach you how to prepare your lectures, presentations and briefings on specific topics, such as plumbing or pneumatics, which will be used to conduct the Type Rating course.
Simulator Training
Get into the heart of the training, learn how to use the IOS (Instructor Operating Station), structure and organize a lesson. We will teach you how to set a certain scenario and complete the mission, meeting your students’ expectations.

Details
Location for Theory: Rome.
Simulator Location: Berlin A320 & B737NG*, Istanbul A320 &B737NG*, Milan A320 & B737NG, Riga B737 300*, Rome A320*.
Course Length: 10 days.
Theory:
Teaching & Learning: 25 hours of lessons **.
Technical Review: 10 hours of lessons.
Practice:
Practice: 10 hours FSS + Assessment of Competence.
* Subject to availability of the simulator at the training center.
** Not required if the candidate already has one of the following ratings on the EASA licence: TRI, SFI, MCCI, FI.
- A CPL, MPL or ATPL license on the required aircraft category;
- At least 1,500 hours of flight time as a pilot of multi-pilot aircrafts;
- Completed, within 12 months preceding the date of registration, 30 flight fields, which include the take-off and landing, as PIC or CO-PILOT, on the applicable aircraft type (of which a maximum of 15 sectors could have been completed on an SBB representing that type of aircraft).
- Or have had a CPL, MPL or ATPL license on the required aircraft category;
- Completed the proficiency check for the release of the rating on the aircraft in question, within an SBB representing that type of aircraft, within 12 months preceding the date of registration;
- At least 1,500 hours of flight time as a pilot of multi-pilot aircrafts;
- Completed, as a pilot or as an observer, within 12 months prior to enrollment, at least:
- 3 route sector flights’ in the cockpit of the applicable type of aircraft;
- 2 commercial training flights conducted by qualified crews in the cockpit of a simulator representing the aircraft type.
These sessions must include 2 flights of at least 2 hours each, between 2 different airports, with associated planning and de-briefing.
