EAA made the decision to train its ATPL Frozen students in Naples, Florida. Thanks to its tropical weather, Florida allows us to have about 340 days of perfect flying conditions.
Naples is close to important training airports like Miami, Tampa, Orlando and many others.
Fleet and Airport
Our 15 aircrafts fleet is composed of the following typologies:
- Piper Warrior, Piper Arrow, Cessna 172Sp and G1000;
- DA42 (Multi Engine);
- Redbird Full Flight Simulator.
All the school's airplanes are equipped with the ADS-B system, that allows safe monitoring of flights by the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and by other aircrafts.
Situated only a few kilometres from the city center, the airport includes: 2 runways, a control tower, pilot shop, VIP terminal and terminal for commercial flights.
The school
Naples’ facilities offer 4 classrooms and 2 briefing rooms, and under the Austrian authority, they are an ATPL examination centre. They’re also equipped with a FAA certified Full Flight Simulator, to perform a few hours of flight time during the ATPL Frozen course.
Within the terminal there are a Pilot Shop and a lounge room as well. There is also a maintenance centre dedicated to the school's aircrafts, to always ensure the highest safety standards.
Accommodations
The accommodations, available on request, are fully furnished,come with air conditioning, internet connection and TV.
The complex benefits of a gym open 24/7, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, bike and canoes rental service.
Our standard accommodation flat consists of two bedrooms with two beds in each room. A total of 4 students can share an apartment in order to save money on long stays. It’s possible to ask for a private room, for a slightly higher price. By bike, accommodations are only 10 minutes away from the airport.

Life at the Academy
There’s more than studying! We firmly believe that good training should be facilitated by a stimulating, peaceful and welcoming environment. In fact, the structure allows our young people to dedicate their free time to sport activities and relax: To have the opportunity to recharge their batteries and then focus on studying and training. At the same time, opportunities are created to socialize with other students, establishing relationships and creating a network of future colleagues. This is the goal of our Academy: to train all-round future Pilots.
